The American Immigration Lawyers Association is the national association of immigration lawyers established to promote justice, advocate for fair and reasonable immigration law and policy, advance the quality of immigration and nationality law and practice, and enhance the professional development of its members.

AILA’s Communications and Outreach Department is charged with promoting the mission of the association and the expertise of our over 15,000 member attorneys to both media and the general public.

The American Immigration Council, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is a powerful voice in promoting laws, policies, and attitudes that honor our proud history as a nation of immigrants. Through research and policy analysis, litigation and communications, and international exchange, the Council seeks to shape a twenty-first century vision of the American immigrant experience.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic communications professional to join our team!

Your Role

As Communications Specialist, you are responsible for supporting a variety of communications activities, with a focus on producing content for our Immigration Justice Campaign and building engagement across AILA and Council websites, email lists, social media channels and marketing campaigns.
