Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Atlanta: Nonpartisan Candidate Training

Greetings from Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Atlanta!

Spring is here — which means that election season is sooner than we think! My name is Raymond Partolan. I am the Program Coordinator for Advancing Justice – Atlanta. I wanted to personally ask you to please share information about our regional nonpartisan candidate training on April 23-24th to those who might be interested.

While our focus is to train Asian Americans and other People of Color Candidates, we welcome and will consider all interested individuals.

This would be a great opportunity for those that are interested in running this year or next year, as well as for those who would make a great future leader (and have been thinking about running) but need some encouragement.

Registration will close soon. This year’s training is also open to Asian and Pacific Islander youth (17-24) who are interested in leadership development, civic engagement, and learning about political and the electoral processes.

Here’s a link where they can learn more and also register:
http://advancingjusticeatlanta.weebly.com/.

The registration fee is $100 but FREE for the youth.
If they live outside of Atlanta area, we are offering travel scholarships as well.

THANK YOU and please let me know if you have any questions!
