    General Description: The Executive Director serves as Chief Executive Officer of Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Atlanta (Advancing Justice – Atlanta, formerly Asian American Legal Advocacy Center). The Executive Director is responsible for the organization’s consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives. The Executive Director is appointed by the Board of Directors and is administratively responsible to the Board. Helen Ho, the founder of Advancing Justice – Atlanta is stepping down and has built a solid foundation for passing the torch of leadership to a new Executive Director who will guide the organization into the next chapter of growth and impact. The new ED will work closely with the staff, community members, Board of Directors, donors and volunteers who are passionate about Advancing Justice – Atlanta’s mission. Working together, the new ED will lead the development of programs into the future and will strengthen Advancing Justice – Atlanta’s role as a leader for justice for Asian immigrants, refugees and Asian Americans (collectively “Asian Americans”) in the South.
