HIV/Hepatitis C/Substance Abuse Project Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Director on all aspects of the Atlanta Latino Prevention Project. This will include planning; coordinating; implementing activities associated with the initiative as well as participation at all required training events and campaigns. Project Coordinator will assist Director with outreach activities, writing programmatic and financial reports, develop and implementation of social media campaigns and other administrative duties. The schedule is flexible and will require accommodating to grant deliverables pertaining to deadlines and covering the Director when she is absent.
Qualifications for the Position:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (psychology, social work, education, public health or closely related field) and at least one year experience in human service delivery or other community base programs. Bilingual; speak and write in Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience in Substance Abuse and HIV Prevention
-Ability to work with the Latino community or groups associated with substance abuse prevention.
Minimum Qualifications:
-College students in related careers, with at least one year prevention field or students in related careers (psychology, social work, education, public health or closely related field)
