Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services Accepting Applications for Firefighters
The application process for new firefighter recruits for Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services is now open. Applications must be completed on-line by 11:59PM on Wednesday, November 4th. Qualified candidates must 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED in order to qualify for the full time or part-time positions.
Applicants must attend only one of the mandatory fire department orientation seminars. You will not be eligible to continue in the hiring process if you do not attend one of these sessions. Be prepared to attend a mandatory orientation session at 7:00PM on either Thursday, November 5th or Monday, November 9th. This will be held at the Cherokee Fire Training Complex, located at 3985 Holly Springs Parkway, Canton, GA 30114.
All correspondence will be through email. Candidates should receive an orientation notice email from the Human Resources Department of the fire department within 72 hours of your application submittal. Candidates are encouraged to check their spam and junk folders if you do not receive this notice. Please email firehr@cherokeega.com if you have not received the orientation notice email after the timeframe mentioned.
