Darrick Alvarez is our current County Field Coordinator. He was born in Orlando, Florida and raised in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He is recieving his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in American Government and a Minor in Business Administration from Georgia Gwinnett College.
Within the last three years, Darrick has been involved with organizations such as the Organization of Latin American Students where he served as President. He gained experience working with the student body and the community leading him to serve on the Presidential Search Committee for the next President of Georgia Gwinnett College. He is a graduate of the GALEO Institute for Leadership where he developed strong leadership skills and worked on various community projects to increase civic engagement. Darrick is currently working with GALEO to ensure that our community is counted for in the 2020 Census as well as increase voter engagement for the upcoming 2020 and 2021 elections.
Darrick has full confidence in the efforts to better improve civic engagement in our communities and believes that Latino voters will have a great turnout in 2020!
