Continuing our Charla and Challah series, ACCESS (American Jewish Committee’s young professionals chapter), GALEO (Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials), and other community leaders will gather on Thursday, August 27 to discuss justice in contemporary times. This issue is topical for Latino, Jewish and other minority communities, in addition to all Atlantans.
Mark Newman, Jennifer Ross, House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams, and a representative from Gideon’s Promise will have a robust dialogue, moderated by Kent Alexander.
Event will start with a networking session from 7:00-7:30 PM. The panel will run from approximately 7:30-8:30 PM and the event will be done by 9:00 PM at the latest.
This conversation will be about law enforcement, justice, and politics. Get excited to have intimate discussions with our dynamic panelists in break-out groups, and come hungry—dinner will be catered by Taqueria Del Sol!
