1. Georgia Budget and Policy Institute released its Women-Powered Prosperity report at their 2019 fall policy conference. The report explores poverty, employment and health in Georgia to develop policy solutions to improve the status of women. It breaks down key factors that affect economic outcomes for women and looks at how the combined forces of gender and race, immigration status, class or gender identity can affect opportunities.
