WorkSource DeKalb Program designed to connect DeKalb County residents to eligible training providers and employers in a centralized location. DeKalb County residents can learn about Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act eligibility requirements, meet with eligible training providers and learn about high demand careers. The program equips DeKalb County residents and employers with resources to assist individuals in overcoming barriers to employment, education and economic development. Paid Youth Internships – DeKalb County
Applications open for both internship seekers and worksites providers. The six-week program runs from June 3, through July 26. DeKalb residents ages 14 to 24 are invited to apply for the program at www.dekalbcountyga.gov/intern Interns will be paid $10 per hour. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. 9to5 is a national grassroots membership organization which engages directly affected women to improve working conditions.
