Facilities & IT Support Coordinator – Feminist Women’s Health Center
Ensure building, operational systems, medical equipment, other equipment, the grounds and parking lot are maintained. Assures security systems are fully operational and other systems and protocols meet the safety needs of the Center, in accordance with governmental regulations, FWHC policies and procedures. Ensure that the information system, network and phone system are available and operational consistently in a safe, HIPAA compliant way. Bachelor level degree preferred. One or more years of consistent and relevant work experience is required, including computer operations support. Experience with medical office practice and software is a plus. Commitment to reproductive health, rights, and justice issues is required. Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills. Attention to detail is a must. Ability to work independently, manage multiple, simultaneous projects and meet and be responsible for deadlines. Ability to gather & consider all relevant information in making decisions and to develop effective solutions is needed. Regular hours cover Tuesday through Saturday with schedule flexibility provided when infrequent evening, “weekend” hours or when Monday coverage occurs. Upbeat, positive, personable, and ability to relate well with diverse people and age groups. Serves on Leadership Team and on financial oversight. College degree in accounting, bookkeeping, or similar fields is preferred. Commensurate work experience is acceptable. A minimum of 5 cumulative years in accounting, bookkeeping, financial planning & office experience is required.
