Program Coordinator – Feminist Women’s Health Center, Lifting Latina Voices Initiative
The LLVI program seeks to challenge the inequalities that Latinas face in accessing sexual and reproductive health care as well as to ensure that Latinas have the tools and information they need to make their own health care decisions. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and at least two years of relevant work experience is required. Willingness to accommodate a flexible schedule, including working some nights and weekends. Must have access to a reliable automobile. Demonstrated commitment to reproductive health, rights and justice. Position has primary day-to-day responsibility for overseeing the program, supporting, training and coordinating lay health promoters consistent with the program plan in their outreach, house parties, their weekly work flow, and the bimonthly support and training meetings. In addition, this role will maintain and cultivate professional relationships with Latino –serving agencies, coalitions, donors, clinics, and media partners as well as building the capacity of a volunteer Latina Leadership Committee.
