Gwinnett County: Bilingual Poll Workers Needed
I am a volunteer precinct manager here in Gwinnett County. I have my complete team staffed except for a bi-lingual Spanish speaker.
I have tried many methods to find someone, including our local elementary school (which is the location of our precinct), the local library, neighbors, and local churches – all to no avail so far.
I am under a pending deadline to turn in my complete roster.
I am hoping that you and GALEO can assist me in this recruiting effort.
The candidate must be at least 16 years old, a US citizen, bi-lingual in Spanish and English, and a resident of Gwinnett County. They will need to successfully complete an online poll official course and be able to work all day on May 22 and July 24 (if a runoff is required) and provide their own transportation.
The pay is $120 for the training completion and the day of work.
My precinct is 094 – located at Pharr Elementary School, 1500 North Road, Snellville.
May I count on your help and assistance, please?
Thank you in advance.
