Senior Program Officer in Education

The Barr Foundation is seeking a senior program officer to engage as a valued thought partner during the program’s strategic planning process and to assume leadership of the development of a grantmaking portfolio following that process. This individual should have a strong commitment to educational excellence and equity issues and a deep knowledge of both evidence-based best practices and emerging innovation in school and program design at the secondary level, including models designed to recuperate learning, accelerate learning, and bridge secondary to post-secondary learning and the workforce.
