State Farm: Interns wanted this summer
What you should know:
State Farm® will employ approximately 30 interns this summer in the Atlanta Metro Area as part of our companywide annual summer internship program. To show our support for the important work that you do, we are once offering our interns the opportunity to give-back to the community by volunteering to perform a service project during the annual Intern Community Service Day (ICSD).
Last year, over 140 interns participated in roughly 1,100 total service hours throughout the Bloomington-Normal, IL community. During this day, interns located at State Farm facilities throughout the country in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois; Dallas, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; Phoenix, Arizona; and Champaign, Illinois will be volunteering in their respective communities.
Action requested:
If you are interested in supporting the ICSD, we ask that you complete and submit the attached service project proposal application to 5promises@statefarm.com.
All applications will be reviewed for consideration.
Deadline to submit your application is March 25th and decisions will be made by April 8.
Additional details:
Summer interns will be offered one day or 7 hours and 45 minutes on July 12th from 8:00am to 4:30pm to volunteer their time while being compensated by State Farm to complete a service project with a local non-profit agency. Intern participation is voluntary and not required.
Interns will have an opportunity to select which service project they would like to volunteer on and you will receive a list of names of interns volunteering to serve on your approved project.
Please understand there is no obligation or expectation that you will participate in this event. However, if you have a meaningful service project(s) that would benefit your organization, we encourage you to apply.
