You are a results-driven self-starter with 3 – 5 years of professional service experience, able to work from home or co- working space in the Atlanta metro area dedicated to servicing one of our clients. The client is a small-mid tier IT networking and infrastructure firm specializing in cable installations, maintenance and design.

Your Objective;
Develop new business, cultivate, nurture and enhance relationships and drive growth and value to the client by delivering business development and sales opportunities.
Your Roles;
You are an employee of The Vela Group exclusively servicing and representing the client. You will have business cards and an email address from the client and the resources of the firm to support your efforts and achieve your targets, goals and objectives.
Your Deliverables;
You will deliver six meetings a month with new business targets and engage in all aspects of developing new business from open to close in both the private and public sectors.

Your Responsibilities;
• Directly manage and coordinate all business development efforts in both the public and private sectors
• Sourcing, lead generation (some client-provided leads), outreach, follow-up, scheduling, due diligence
• Establish new relationships and leverage existing relationships with key executives of targeted organizations
• Fill the pipeline with new opportunities and meet objectives
• Build and maintain business relationships in the community, telecommunications and technology fields
• Consult with potential new clients to determine their needs and generate multi-product/service solution
• Take initiative to learn new offers and products as they become available
• Utilize a team of Applications Sales Engineers, manufacture support representatives and Design Engineers to provide requisite BD materials to potential new clients such as; comprehensive briefing, white paper, presentation, marketing material, ROI analysis, outline, unsolicited proposal, response to; Request for Proposal, Request for Information, Sources Sought, Request for Quote and/or related.
Your Abilities;

• Analyze client business requirements and develop creative solutions
Job Requirements;
• 3 – 5 years’ professional experience in comparable industries
• Demonstrated track record in sales and new client generation
• Aggressive producer and closer
• High level of confidence and presentation
• Strong business acumen, written, verbal and presentation skills • NO fear of rejection
• Proficiency in Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Personal cell phone to make company calls with
• Available before and after “regular” working hours
• Industry &/or technical knowledge
Your Education;
• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or marketing preferred • Equivalent work experience will be considered

• Base: $60,000
• Commission: + $20,000 (w/ quotas)
• Limited expense account and reimbursements • Health insurance not included
